Located on Cornelia St., the contemporary art gallery "Colors of the Soul" offers multiple workshops and relaxation experiences for all ages. Last Saturday, we had the opportunity to attend, and we were pleasantly surprised. For a fair price, you can enjoy hours of relaxation throughout the gallery, which boasts seven floors and a beautiful backyard garden – it’s magnificent! It's not very common to think about the importance of art for physical and mental health, but it's good to reflect on it, and without a doubt, the gallery provides that space to ponder our artistic side. The gallery staff is friendly and dedicated to their work, making this experience very warm and comfortable for anyone visiting the gallery.

In the lobby, there is a mural where visitors can enjoy a moment of drawing with chalk and leave their mark on the place. So, don’t hesitate to visit the gallery and show the world your artistic side. There are more than a few activities to do in this venue; the gallery currently hosts 13 exhibitions, consisting of 1,989 artworks, and from the third floor, we can find the artistic workshops where they teach you to replicate your favorite artwork!

One of the most important exhibitions in the gallery is "Born to Die," created by local artists who, during the sunset, exhibit their works in the backyard garden of the gallery, sharing difficult experiences from their lives and inviting visitors to enjoy life during hard times and to value every moment. These artists explore themes such as depression, anxiety, and joy in paintings and sculptures created from scratch right in front of the visitors, making it a very emotional moment.

The art therapy workshops offered at the gallery are perfect for relaxing and having quality time with ourselves or our loved ones. The purpose of the gallery is to disconnect a bit from stressful factors, whether it's work, school, or both. Thus, the gallery is not just a place to admire the art of others but also to reconnect with the art that we are and to reflect on our mental health and reconnect with it. In retrospect, it is a beautiful and peaceful place that you can visit almost every day of the year, and it will always surprise you with something new. Art is a relevant component of our health; you don’t need to be a painter to have art in your life, as it manifests in many aspects. It serves to express ourselves in a thousand ways, and "Colors of the Soul" offers this sanctuary in the form of sculptures, photographs, and paintings. We highly recommend visiting this gallery and exploring every hallway and every therapeutic workshop. Don’t hesitate to try it if you are looking for an alternative way to take care of your health.
